HEM, one music school,
two campuses, a single website

Client
Haute école de musique de Genève – Neuchâtel
Assignment
UX/UI design and development

The HEM trains musicians on two campuses, in Geneva and Neuchâtel. Its website had to present a very rich range of programmes, a busy events calendar and school life, without losing any of its audiences.

The challenge

Programmes, disciplines, research, concerts, masterclasses: the HEM publishes a considerable volume of content for very different audiences — applicants, students, teachers, concert-goers. This wealth had to become readable and accessible in just a few steps.

The solution

We organised the site by audience and by use: a “You are…” menu, filterable lists for programmes and events, and a strong identity carried by the HEM’s colours. On mobile, each page can be browsed in a single gesture.
